Lensing Building Specialties in Evansville, IN, is seeking a Senior Accountant to blend traditional accounting with process improvements, data analytics, and reporting automation. You will manage reconciliations, fixed asset records, and ERP support while partnering with the Controller to keep financial operations accurate and efficient.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and comfort

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the accounting team at Lensing Building Specialties. This role blends traditional accounting responsibilities with process improvement, data analytics, and reporting automation. You will manage account reconciliations, support ERP systems operations, and help drive accounting automation and reporting improvements, working closely with the Controller and accounting team to keep our financial operations running smoothly and accurately.

What You'll Do

Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly and daily

Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

Analyze workflows and partner cross-departmentally to design and implement process improvements

Build reports and use data research, mining, and AI tools to drive analytics and process automation

Provide ERP system training and support to other users

Ensure accurate customer and vendor records

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience

Preferred Experience

• CPA or progress toward CPA
• Experience with DMSI Agility or similar ERP systems
