Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an experienced Accountant who blends traditional accounting with technology to drive improvements. You’ll work with leadership and cross-functional teams to understand how decisions impact financial operations and leverage AI/RPA to automate processes.

Responsibilities include managing accounts, mastering Oracle Fusion, supporting month-end close, maintaining internal controls, and leading fixed asset activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or tax.
• CPA license preferred or pursuing CPA licensure.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and applicable accounting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor accounts, ledgers, and financial reporting systems in compliance with GAAP and regulations.
• Leverage Oracle Fusion to improve reconciliations, journal entries, and processes.
• Support month-end close with timely deadlines and updated checklists.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate key accounting processes with Oracle Fusion, AI, and RPA.
• Assist with implementing technology solutions for AP, reconciliations, and Master Data Management.
