Job summary

Happiest Baby, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the monthly close, manage GL, and oversee AP/AR and purchasing. You will drive process improvements and automate recurring tasks using AI tools, with strict human review for every output.

Role requires a strong accounting background, US GAAP expertise, and advanced Excel skills. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with strong accounting background.
• Progressive accounting experience including AP, AR, and month-end close.
• Solid US GAAP knowledge (ASC 606/842, inventory, depreciation).
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query/Power Pivot; lookups; dynamic arrays).
• Working knowledge of SQL/Python/VBA and ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close: accruals, prepaids, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Administer AP/AR and purchasing; oversee matching, coding, and workflows.
• Review invoices, expense reports, and vendor master data for accuracy.
• Automate recurring tasks and improve processes with AI tools; ensure human review.
