Job summary

Happiest Baby seeks a Senior Accountant to lead GL close, AP/AR, and purchasing while leveraging AI tools to automate recurring tasks. You will partner with Operations and leadership, ensure accuracy, and drive process improvements in a fast-moving startup environment.

The role emphasizes human review of AI outputs, strong Excel modeling, and cross-functional collaboration across Finance and other departments, including FP&A support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with strong accounting background.
• Experience with US GAAP,ASC 606/842, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close, GL accounting, and prep of financial statements.
• Manage AP/AR processing, purchasing, and vendor master data.
• Automate recurring tasks using AI tools and ensure human review by a supervisor.
