Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Accountant to own key parts of the month-end close and help scale our accounting operations. You will gain exposure to technical accounting and financial reporting while optimizing our AI-native ERP, Rillet.

You will partner with the broader Finance team and cross-functional groups. A strong public accounting foundation and CPA are highly valued as we scale in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience with strong close knowledge.
• Public accounting audit experience (Big 4 preferred) or equivalent at a high-growth tech company.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Solid US GAAP knowledge and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Curiosity and hands-on use of AI tools to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own key areas of the month-end close (stock-based comp, leases, investments) including journals and schedules.
• Lead revenue accounting: contract reviews, revenue schedules, and deferred revenue reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and flux analyses.
• Support year-end financial statements and footnotes disclosures.
• Prepare audit schedules and support the annual audit.
• Help optimize AI-assisted close workflows and document processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Billing, People, AP, and other teams on accounting questions.
