Job Summary

Ready to advance your accounting career? We’re on the hunt for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at RLG Americas. If you’re passionate about precision, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this hands-on role is calling your name! You’ll be managing everything from accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) to creating spot-on invoices and diving deep into month-end and year-end closings. Your ability to stay organized while balancing multiple tasks will be key, and you’ll get to collaborate with a fun, cross-functional team every step of the way. Job Responsibilities
  • Create, review, and issue customer sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper coding and classification of costs and revenues by cost centers
  • Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on past-due accounts
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, project managers, operations) to ensure billing accuracy
  • Resolve customer inquiries or disputes related to billing or payments
  • Prepare AR reports and assist in cash flow forecasting
  • Review, verify, and post vendor invoices ensuring accuracy of quantities, pricing, documentation, and appropriate GL coding
  • Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries regarding payment status
  • Prepare and review weekly accounts payable reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Prepare and post month-end journal entries
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end closings ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports
  • Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions in accordance with internal policies
  • Analyze financial data and create PowerPoint presentations for management
  • Mentor and serve as a resource for Staff Accountants
  • Perform ad hoc accounting tasks and projects as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant years of experience
  • A minimum 8 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience with expertise in AR, AP, and GL
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
