Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well-established distribution leader. This hands-on role supervises daily accounting activities, supports month-end close, and mentors accounting staff. The position offers a casual, team-oriented culture with a family feel and opportunity to lead and develop staff; work from home 2 days weekly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review the work of accounting staff and provide coaching and direction.
• Assist with financial reporting and internal controls.
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and special projects.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across accounting activities.
