CFS in Tinley Park, IL is seeking a Senior Accountant to own month-end close, financial reporting, and internal control improvements within a growing manufacturing organization.

This role offers a clear path to Accounting Manager, a hybrid work schedule, competitive compensation ($90k-$110k base plus bonus), and opportunities to mentor staff and partner with operations on forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or public accounting.

Responsabilités

• Support month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Manage accounting processes related to fixed assets, leases, and inventory while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and reporting quality.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to analyze business performance and support forecasting activities.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements, documentation, internal controls, and accounting policy compliance.
