Job summary

CFS in Indiana is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a manufacturing-focused accounting team. You will own portions of the month-end close, analyze financials, and support operational reporting while collaborating with experienced finance professionals.

You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities and contribute to SOX-related processes in a well-established organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to manufacturing/audit.
• Good computer skills, including ERP experience and proficiency in Excel-pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and formulas.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to take ownership.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own key responsibilities within the month-end close process, including complex journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Help ensure financials are reported within the reporting cycle.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial information and operational reporting.
• Support quarterly SOX audits, including gathering and preparing documentation.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts.
• Research and resolve accounting issues and complete various ad hoc financial and accounting projects.
• Partner with the accounting and finance team to improve processes and support business needs.

Salary: $85,000-110,000 annually
