Job summary

Remarcable, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant in St. Louis, MO to own core accounting operations and build scalable finance systems. You will manage monthly closes, reconcile ledgers, and support SaaS revenue recognition while partnering with leadership on budgeting, audits, and fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Public accounting experience, preferably audit.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience owning a full close process with minimal oversight.
• Experience with QuickBooks/NetSuite/Bill.com.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets.
• Attention to detail and scalable processes.
• Strong communication with non-finance stakeholders.
• Self-starter in a small team.

Responsibilities

Remarcable is an early-stage SaaS company helping electrical contractors solve material procurement challenges. We're a small, fast-moving team where everyone has real ownership — this role is no exception. As we scale, we need a Senior Accountant who can bring structure to our finances while staying comfortable with the pace and ambiguity of an early-stage company.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to own our core accounting operations and help build the financial infrastructure that will support our growth. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the company on everything from monthly close to process design, and you'll be a key partner as we prepare for future fundraising, audits, and scaling our finance function.

What You’ll Do

• Own the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
• Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with GAAP

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Excel skills, working with large data sets, and formulas (ex. SUMIFS)
• Excellent attention to detail and a bias toward building scalable processes
• Strong communicator who can explain financials to non-finance stakeholders
• Self-starter, comfortable in a small team with evolving priorities
