Vaco is partnering with a growing global organization to hire a Senior Accountant in Scottsdale, AZ. This role focuses on ownership of key general ledger accounting functions, month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support within a multi-entity structure.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3+ years of experience (public or corporate), and CPA is highly preferred. The position offers a hybrid schedule with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities and support the consolidation process.
• Prepare and record journal entries across accounting areas.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze account activity and investigate complex transactions.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Partner with AP, AR, tax, and revenue teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with process improvements and optimization of accounting systems.
• Support and mentor junior accounting team members.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.

Compensation & Benefits

• $90,000-$100,000 base salary
• Bonus opportunity of up to 20%
