Job summary

AccruePartners is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a privately held, $100M+ organization with a national footprint in the foodservice and consumer products space. In this newly created role, you will own key areas of the accounting cycle and help modernize processes.

You will work with a highly tenured team, bring your accounting expertise to reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls, and help define a scalable approach as the business continues to grow.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience with strong fundamentals.
• CPA strongly preferred, with consideration for CPA candidacy.
• Public accounting experience is highly attractive for impact inside one organization.
• Blend of public accounting and industry experience is compelling.
• Exposure to multiple clients, industries, or accounting environments.

Responsibilities

• Own key areas of the accounting cycle and improve processes.

What You\'ll Be Doing

• Own key areas of the accounting cycle while bringing a fresh lens to how the work gets done.


• Dig into reconciliations, reporting, processes, and workflows to uncover opportunities for greater efficiency, consistency, and control.


• Help elevate the Accounting function by introducing best practices and more scalable approaches from environments you have experienced before.


• Partner with a highly tenured team, combining their deep knowledge of the business with the outside perspective you bring.


• Strengthen processes, controls, and segregation of duties while helping create clearer ownership across the function.

A BACKGROUND THAT FITS
