Position Summary:

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and operational accounting. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly financial statements and assist with year-end close.
• Back-up accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash application processes.
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper accounting classifications.
• Assist in annual budget preparation.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
• Help with collections, when needed.
• Partner with operations to support and organize leases and manage fines.
• Prepare sales and use tax reports.
• Ensure timely scanning and document management.
• Collaborate with and support the broader accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and business operations.
• Expertise in inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
