Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Washing, DC (Fully Remote)

Compensation: 90k + Bonus

We’re partnering with a growing logistics organization to help expand their accounting team with the addition of a Senior Accountant. This is a 100% remote opportunity open to candidates based on the East Coast. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting corporate accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and audit support. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries and complete month-end close tasks
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and lease accounting entries
• Assist in reviewing financial statements for accuracy and completeness
• Support FP&A with actuals reporting and help ensure spend is properly captured

Ideal Background:

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (public/private mix is a plus)
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems
• CPA or CPA-track is a major plus

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Direct experience with lease accounting and fixed assets
• Strong Excel skills – you’ll need to be confident using advanced functions to analyze data and support close processes
• Solid grasp of GAAP and debits/credits – your accounting foundation should be strong and well-rounded
