Job summary

Addison Group, in partnership with a real estate developer in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Corporate Accountant to manage general accounting duties, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

You will compile entries, review accounts, post journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with sales tax filings and AR invoicing, delivering accurate GAAP-based reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare entries to general ledger, document business transactions, and complete reconciliations
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts for current activity
• Create and post journal entries
• Perform bank reconciliations for various bank accounts
• File Sales Tax returns
• Create and post A/R invoices

• Review and reconcile various balance sheet accounts for current activity.
• Create and post necessary journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations for various bank accounts.
• Filing of Sales Tax returns.
• Create and post A/R invoices.

Qualifications
