LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing healthcare services organization in Addison, TX. You will own key components of the monthly close, analyze financials, and partner with leadership on process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of progressive accounting, experience with general ledger and month-end close, and proficiency in Workday Finance and advanced Excel. CPA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience.
• Experience with Workday Finance and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query.
• Alteryx experience and payroll accounting is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support monthly close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze P&L and balance sheet activity, research discrepancies.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit requests.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and support internal control documentation.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional accounting initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring solid general ledger experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and support monthly close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze P&L and balance sheet activity; research and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insight into financial performance
• Assist with audit preparation and ensure timely completion of audit requests
• Maintain general ledger integrity and support internal control documentation
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional accounting initiatives
