Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting seeks a hands-on Senior Accountant to manage month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting in Montebello, CA.

You will maintain general ledger integrity, analyze activity, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and support audits and compliance across manufacturing or distribution environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong GL, month-end close and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• GAAP knowledge and account reconciliations.
• ERP/Sage experience; manufacturing or distribution industry experience preferred.
• Experience with fixed assets, sales tax and audit support.

This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, analyzing account activity, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting audits and compliance requirements.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and account reconciliations
• ERP/accounting software experience (Sage preferred)
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
• Experience with fixed assets, sales tax, and audit support
