The role supports internal and external reporting and requires strong attention to detail and GAAP proficiency.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• CPA (Preferred).
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional), preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in closing accounting books monthly with timely journal entries.
• Perform general ledger account analysis and monthly reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis.
• Compile data and reports to support internal and external reporting.
• Support external audits and work with Internal Auditors as needed.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will compile and audit data and reports to support internal and external reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and manager review.

Key Role Accountabilities

• Participate in closing accounting books monthly (4 business day goal) and prepare applicable journal entries timely and accurately.
• Perform general ledger account analysis and prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis.
• Compile data and reports to support internal and external reporting.
• Work with Internal Auditors and provide support for external audits as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• CPA (Preferred).
