Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking a Senior Accountant to compile and audit data for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and manager review. The role is based at 3 Crossgate Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA, with full-time hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The candidate will participate in closings, perform GL analyses, and support internal and external reporting. A Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5+ years of experience are required; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• CPA certification preferred, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in closing accounting books monthly (4 business day goal) and prepare applicable journal entries timely and accurately.
• Perform general ledger account analysis and prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis.
• Compile data and reports to support internal and external reporting.
• Work with Internal Auditors and provide support for external audits as necessary.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will compile and audit data and reports to support internal and external reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and manager review.

Key Role Accountabilities

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• CPA (Preferred).
