Role Description

The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in San Pedro, CA, responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closings. The role manages financial statements, supports budgeting and forecasting, and assists with cash flow monitoring and variance analysis. The Senior Accountant will coordinate with external auditors, maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and help refine internal controls and accounting processes. This position works closely with leadership to provide reliable financial data and analysis that support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong general accounting skills, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.


• Experience with financial reporting, including preparation and review of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.


• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and performance tracking.
