Greenfield Milling is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing team in Logan, UT (or Denver, CO). You will manage the general ledger, perform revenue recognition, and drive the month-end close with strong GAAP discipline.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree in accounting or finance, 5+ years of experience, and solid Excel/Acumatica skills. CPA is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and a relocation-friendly package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent.
• CPA is a plus; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Acumatica.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure general ledger integrity and accuracy.
• Perform month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review journal entries and classify accounting records for GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with AR/AP to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Analyze financial results vs budget and investigate variances.
• Assist with annual audits and provide financial analysis for management.

You will analyze financial data and maintain the financial system for general accounting/ledger and cost accounting. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate, timely, and proper accounting and financial records using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
