Job summary

Greenfield Milling is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Denver/Logan team. You will manage the general ledger, cost accounting, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting, ensuring timely, accurate records.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting within manufacturing, with strong Excel, ERP/Acumatica experience, and effective cross-functional collaboration. CPA is a plus; relocation benefits may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required).
• 5+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing or similar industry.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience with ERP systems; Acumatica a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze complex data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.
• Prepare revenue recognition timely and accurately.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with AR/AP to ensure accuracy of records.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Assist with annual audits and financial reporting.
• Provide cost analysis and reserves recommendations.
• Communicate with multiple departments to ensure accurate financials.

Job description

An innovative and fast-growing manufacturing company headquartered in Denver is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. You will analyze financial data and maintain the financial system for general accounting/ledger and cost accounting. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate, timely, and proper accounting and financial records using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
