Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced Accountant for the Finance Administration team in Indianapolis, IN. The hybrid, full-time role focuses on planning, coordination and administration of complex accounting activities within Ascension Health Ministry Service Center.

The position requires a strong background in accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support, with 1–5 years of experience and leadership capabilities encouraged. Bachelors in Accounting preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field required; 7–10 years experience preferred.
• Oracle and Google Suite experience a plus.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Accountant Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
• Bachelors of Accounting with 7-10 years of experience highly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle and Google Suite is a plus.
