Job summary

Brilliant® is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage core financial processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

This onsite role in NW Houston supports the general ledger close, accounts payable, revenue and cost accounting, and financial reporting for a high-revenue client. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 4+ years of corporate accounting experience, with ERP exposure (D365, SAP B1, Oracle/JD Edwards).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 4+ years of corporate accounting experience.
• Experience in accounting for an enterprise with >$300M in annual revenue desirable.
• ERP systems experience (D365/Microsoft, SAP Business One, Oracle/JD Edwards) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage General Ledger and Monthly Close processes.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Revenue and related costs, AR and inventory/costing.
• Support financial analysis, reporting, audit and tax matters.

Our large client (not in O/G) is looking for a Senior Accountant.

*Onsite in NW Hou (Cypress Area)*

This position has overall responsibility for ensuring company financial transactions are accumulated, classified and recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards and all regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for the execution of various accounting functions, including General Ledger and Monthly Close, Accounts Payable, Revenue and related commercial expenses such as commissions and royalties, AR, Inventory/costing, Payroll and Benefits, Long-lived assets (including leases, fixed assets and intangibles), Cash Management, Financial Analysis, Tax matters and compliance, and Management and Financial Reporting. The role collaborates with the financial planning and analysis, other accounting operations, and business partners on a variety of topics, including accounting, financial reporting, compliance, audit and tax matters.
