Job summary

• Own daily accounting operations including A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Manage month-end close, reporting packages, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership to align financial goals.
• Lead role in ERP transition and systems migration.

We have partnered with a well known organization in the manufacturing and distribution sector who is looking for a hands on Senior Accountant to join the team during an exciting period of transition and growth. What You’ll Be Doing As Senior Accountant

• Own daily accounting operations: A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Manage month end close, reporting packages, and variance analysis
• Document, improve, and implement internal controls and accounting workflows
• Support licensing, sales/use tax, and compliance across multiple states
• Collaborate cross functionally with ops and leadership to align financial goals
• Play a lead role in an upcoming ERP transition and systems migration
• Provide accurate, GAAP compliant financial data to support decision making

What Sets You Apart As Senior Accountant:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (distribution/manufacturing is a big plus)
• Degree preferred but not required for the right experience
• Strong command of GAAP and internal control best practices
• QuickBooks expertise required; NetSuite or other ERP experience is highly valued
• Excel savvy with solid analytical and reporting skills
• Comfortable working in a high volume, hands on environment

The Details:

Location: Houston, TX (North Houston); onsite

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 (based on experience)
