Job summary

Colvin Resources Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our on-site team as we scale our financial function. You will own month-end close, GL reconciliations, and reporting while partnering with leadership to support growth.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and ERP experience (Dynamics 365 BC or NetSuite). This is a hands-on role in a PE-backed service business with room to advance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong grasp of general ledger, month-end close, and GAAP.
• Experience supporting outside auditors and preparing workpapers.
• ERP experience with Dynamics 365 BC or NetSuite.
• Advanced Excel and payroll processing knowledge.
• Detail-oriented and eager to grow into more.

Responsibilities

• Close monthly, quarterly, and year-end; journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger, bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Oversee AP/AR; resolve vendor and client issues.
• Record payroll-related entries for third-party processing.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation.
• Assist budget prep with management.
• Drive ERP and process improvements as the company scales.

What you'll own

• Monthly, quarterly, and year-end close - journal entries, accruals, account analysis
• General ledger, bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Financial statement prep and review, ensuring GAAP compliance
• AP/AR oversight, including vendor and client issue resolution
• Payroll-related journal entries for third-party processing
• Audit support - schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for outside auditors
• Budget prep alongside the management team
• Process and ERP system improvements as the company grows

What you bring

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
