Upcoresolutions is seeking an accounting professional to support financial reporting, GL integrity, and monthly/quarterly closes in Illinois. The role interfaces with the CFO and cross-functional teams to deliver timely, accurate financial insights.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, GL reconciliations, budgeting, variance analysis, audits, and AP/AR processing. Proficiency with ERP systems such as MAS 90/SAGE 100 and Crystal Reports is advantageous.

Qualificações

• Experience with GL, AP/AR, budgeting and audits.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems to manage financial data.
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain the general ledger by reviewing, posting, and adjusting entries.
• Assist in monthly financial close process and close activities.
• Reconcile GL and bank accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts and analyze variances.
• Support internal and external audits by gathering documentation and addressing auditor requests.
• Analyze accounts payable balances and transactions to resolve discrepancies.
• Process vendor payables with 3-way match; manage accounts receivable cash receipts; post checks and reconcile credit card transactions.
• Collaborate with CFO and departments to provide insights into financial practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Our client is seeking - Financial Reporting: Assist with Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• General Ledger Maintenance:
  • Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger by reviewing, posting, and adjusting entries as needed.
  • Assist in preparing Monthly Financials & Month End Close process.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and highly organized while multi-tasking.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a strong work ethic.
  • Provide administrative support for special projects.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• General Ledger and Bank Reconciliation:
  • Conduct GL & bank reconciliations and reconcile other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and analyze variances between forecasted and actual results.
• Audit Support:
  • Assist in internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation and addressing auditor requests.
• Account Payables Analysis:
  • Analyze account balances & transactions to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Accounts Payable Processing:
  • Enter vendor payables with 3-way match process Identify and resolve Vendor discrepancies Maintain Vendor account data Process weekly check run Accounts Receivable Analysis:
    • Post Cash Receipts
  • Post electronic and paper checks to customer accounts Reconcile credit card transactions Identify and resolve Customer discrepancies Contact past due customers
• Accounting Software Utilization:
  • Use accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial data.
  • MAS 90/SAGE 100 - Crystal Reports helpful
• Collaboration:
  • Reports to CFO. Positions Has no reports. Work closely with other departments to provide insights into financial practices and support business objectives.
