Job summary

Aston Carter is hiring for an Accountant in Charleston, SC, on a contract-to-hire basis. The role requires full-cycle accounting, GL, and job costing with a strong emphasis on accuracy and deadlines.

You will collaborate across Admin, Project Management, Estimating, and site teams, performing reconciliations and ad hoc reporting for multiple divisions. Onsite work with competitive hourly pay ranges from $38–$48.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting, including bank reconciliations and balance sheets.
• Full-cycle accounting experience, including journal entries, general ledger, month-end processes, audits, and reconciliations.
• Construction industry experience is a huge plus.
• Strong software skills, including proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform job costing.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
