The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 3 years of GAAP accounting experience, and strong analytical skills. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well-established company located north of Boston. The Senior Accountant will be hands-on in all general ledger accounting and get involved in complex areas within fixed assets, variance analysis, and budgeting.

The Controller is targeting a driven Senior Accountant with GAAP accounting, fixed assets, and intellectual curiosity to join the team. The firm offers a competitive compensation, profit-sharing plan, and comprehensive employee benefits. In-office schedule with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month end close activities (journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, etc.)
• Analyze P&L and expense variances
• Contribute to annual audit procedure
• Ensure accurate US GAAP accounting standards are met
• Play a key role in implementing new ERP system
• Support the Controller with ad-hoc projects as needed
