Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant in Bloomington, IN to join our finance team. The role offers direct mentorship with the CFO and executive leadership, with a clear growth path toward Controller-level responsibilities and long-term succession planning.

You will contribute to corporate accounting, reporting, budgeting, and financial planning while supporting multiple divisions. The position provides broad exposure beyond GL, including audits, payroll, and consolidated reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and journal entries.
• Advanced Excel skills and accounting software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain fixed asset records and property tax reporting across divisions.
• Support financial statement preparation, audits, and consolidated reporting.
• Assist with corporate budgeting and coordination with divisional controllers.
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries.
• Process payroll through ADP and support annual compliance reporting.
