Ascendo Resources seeks a hands-on Senior Accountant / Project Accountant for an Austin, TX on-site role with a $75K–$110K salary plus discretionary bonus. Responsibilities include job costing, WIP, POC revenue recognition, AIA billing, and NetSuite implementation support, along with audits and tax schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years accounting experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP and month-end close knowledge.
• Journal entries & balance sheet reconciliations.
• Construction accounting experience — MUST.
• POC revenue recognition & WIP reporting — MUST.
• Advanced Excel.

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries and accruals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support AR/AP processes and aging reports.
• Handle job costing, WIP, POC revenue recognition, and AIA billing.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and reporting.
• Support audits and tax schedules.
• Participate in acquisition integration and multi-entity accounting.
• Help improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support the upcoming NetSuite implementation.
