We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong technical accounting foundation and hands‑on experience supporting AI‑driven transformation initiatives and financial due diligence across domestic and international contracts. This role sits at the intersection of core accounting, technology enablement, and deal support – evaluating contracts, systems, and processes for clients/business units in data center and manufacturing sectors as the organization scales AI tooling and automation into its finance function.

- Evaluate and document accounting and reporting impacts of AI/automation transformation initiatives, partnering with finance systems and IT teams
- Perform technical accounting research and analysis (US GAAP; IFRS exposure a plus) for complex, cross-border contracts
- Assist with M&A/transaction due diligence — quality of earnings support, contract review, and working capital analysis
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Operations, IT/Data) to assess AI tool implementation impacts on internal controls and financial reporting
- Support month-end/quarter-end close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis tied to capital-intensive projects (data center builds, manufacturing capex)
- Identify and help implement process automation and AI-enabled efficiencies within accounting workflows
- Prepare and review contract-level financial schedules for multi-national engagements, addressing currency, tax, and regulatory considerations
- Assist in developing internal controls and documentation standards for new technology-driven processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
- 4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to due diligence, M&A, or transaction advisory work
- Experience with data center, manufacturing, infrastructure, or capital-project accounting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with international contract accounting (multi-currency, cross-border revenue/cost structures)
- Exposure to AI/automation tools in a finance/accounting context (e.g., RPA, AI-assisted reconciliation, ERP-integrated AI modules)
- Strong Excel/financial modeling skills; ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) required
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment
- Prior Big 4 or public accounting experience a plus
Preferred Attributes
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity as processes and tools evolve
- Curiosity and adaptability toward new technology, with a pragmatic "how does this affect the numbers" mindset
- Experience supporting or interfacing with technical/IT teams on system implementations
