About the Opportunity
A global organization is adding a Senior Accountant, Reporting & Analysis to its corporate finance team. This is an analytical role focused on global financial reporting, consolidation, FP&A, financial analysis, and technology-driven process improvement.
Unlike a traditional Senior Accountant position, this role has minimal transactional and general ledger responsibility. Instead, the Senior Accountant will leverage AI, Power BI, D365, OneStream, and other modern financial technologies to drive insights, improve reporting, automate processes, and support better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead global consolidation, reporting, and financial analysis efforts
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, management commentary, and audited financial statements
- Review GAAP financial reporting and assist with implementation of new accounting standards
- Lead FP&A activities, including forecasting, latest estimate cycles, business reviews, and ad-hoc analysis
- Analyze financial results and identify key business drivers, trends, and opportunities
- Utilize Microsoft Copilot and AI tools to enhance financial analysis and management reporting
- Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements
- Support accounting and financial analysis related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Tax, Treasury, M&A, Risk, IT, Operations, and other corporate functions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Public accounting experience required
- Experience with multi-currency global consolidations preferred
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze large data sets and translate information into actionable insights
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within small, matrixed, and international teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and organizational change
- Manufacturing & Distribution experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Microsoft Power BI required
- Experience with an ERP system required
- Microsoft Copilot or similar AI/prompting experience preferred
- Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new financial systems and technologies
