Empresa Confidencial seeks a Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance Transformation to lead cross‑functional ERP and financial systems transformation across the company’s global finance organization. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
  • CPA designation preferred but not required.
  • 10–15 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least seven years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with global transformation projects and SOX controls design and documentation.
  • Strong US GAAP knowledge and multi-entity/multi-currency reporting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ERP and financial systems transformation initiatives, including requirements, vendor selection, configuration, testing and data migration.
  • Act as the focal point for financial systems projects, ensuring policy alignment and integration of acquired entities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to redesign record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and intercompany processes.
  • Collaborate with CAO and AI teams on automation initiatives and data readiness across systems.
  • Develop and implement internal control frameworks (SOX and equivalents) across entities with audit coordination.
  • Work with IT on system controls and access reviews, documenting current and future state environments.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance Transformation to join our Finance Group. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, this position will focus on transformation projects across the company’s global finance organization. These initiatives include global ERP implementation and other financial systems, accompanied by process re-engineering and automation, controls augmentation, and change management. The role involves working with domestic, offshore, and international accounting teams and collaborating with functional partners and external vendors across the organization. The ideal candidate combines technical and operational accounting experience with systems and automation expertise.

Key Accountabilities
  • Partner with various stakeholders on the end-to-end ERP and financial systems transformation, including requirements gathering, vendor selection, system configuration, testing, implementation, data migration, and post-go-live stabilization
  • Act as the focal point for all financial systems projects, focusing on system replacement, policy and procedure alignment across the organization, and integration of acquired entities
  • Partner with functional teams on process re-engineering across record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and intercompany accounting, designing future-state workflows and managing execution
  • Partner with the CAO and the AI team on automation projects
  • Manage the global data readiness project across various financial systems
  • Collaborate with IT on streamlining system controls, including User Access Reviews (UARs), and document the current system environment and future-state requirements
  • Collaborate with the CAO on standardizing the global chart of accounts, month-end close, and financial reporting frameworks across all domestic and international entities
  • Partner with the CAO on designing and implementing internal control frameworks (SOX and local equivalents) across new and existing entities, in coordination with internal and external audit teams
  • Support the CAO with other global project and initiatives
  • Partner with the global accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not required.
  • 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least seven years in a supervisory capacity
  • A combination of Big Four and private-industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a public company and across multiple geographical entities, preferred
  • Proven experience working on global transformation projects, required
  • Prior experience designing, implementing, and documenting policies and procedures in a SOX environment, required
Knowledge and Targeted Competencies
  • Advanced proficiency in US GAAP required
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines simultaneously
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills, required; experience with data visualization and analytics tools, a plus
  • Strong ERP and financial systems expertise: Oracle, FloQast, Coupa, and Workiva, a plus
  • Deep understanding of core accounting cycles: record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and intercompany
  • Advanced knowledge of financial consolidations, multi-entity/multi-currency reporting, statutory reporting, and transfer pricing
  • Strong project management skills across concurrent, cross-functional workstreams
