Venteon is representing a large, stable distribution company in the Metro Detroit area seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

The role focuses on the month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, consolidated statements, internal controls, and inventory analysis. You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience with strong US GAAP knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to support the month-end close.
• Help prepare consolidated financial statements.

• Support physical inventory counts and analyze Excess/Obsolete inventory.
• Prepare relevant journal entries as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES of Senior Accountant

• Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries and account reconciliations to support the month end close process.
• Senior Accountant will help prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Senior Accountant will help with internal control and procedure documentation.
• Support physical inventory counts and help with Excess/Obsolete inventory analysis
• Help prepare relevant journal entries as needed.
