Job summary

Hempel A/S in the Houston area is seeking a Senior Account Manager to provide sales support for existing customers in the industrial coatings market. You will develop new accounts by strengthening relationships with key decision makers and collaborate with R&D to understand product chemistry.

This remote role requires travel 33-50%, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years minimum with paint or coatings application.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with existing accounts.
• Prospect new accounts and build relationships with key decision makers.
• Understand and become familiar with Hempel products, focusing on epoxy/urethane technology.
• Coordinate trade show activities with Marketing Department and manage CRM.
• Prepare price quotes and monthly sales reports; report expenses weekly.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Customer Service and Customers.
