Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience or 7+ years in insurance
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book of business, ensure account retention and support new business
• Coordinate daily admin and customer service activities, resolve complex issues
• Serve as subject matter expert for the account management team
• Maintain high technical competence and industry expertise
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Ensure timely completion of workloads and accurate data
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures
• Adopt best practices to improve performance
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership
