Job summary

Nahan, a Minnesota-based printing and direct marketing company, seeks a Senior Account Manager to lead strategic client partnerships and oversee projects from booking to completion. You will serve as the primary contact after award, coordinating across production facilities in a hybrid work setting.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in Direct Mail / commercial print coordination, strong communication, and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business (or related field) or five (5) years’ experience in a customer service environment is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience with Direct Mail projects and Commercial print coordination (Account Manager equivalent) experience strongly preferred.
• Prior experience successfully maintaining, cultivating, and growing strong customer and cross functional team relationships, required.

Responsibilities

• Lead effective account management, ensuring seamless coordination and communication of projects across multiple facilities.
• Provide thorough and accurate job instructions to production across all project types (direct mail, catalog, digital, etc.) with an eye towards enhancing client results.
• Proactively identify and address customer needs, employing effective project management and communication to exceed expectations and drive tangible results.
• Schedule and lead planning/production meetings as needed, developing agendas, preparing meeting materials, and documenting minutes for clear follow-through.
• Regularly share best practices with the Client Services team.
• Partner with Account Services and Sales teams to ensure a cohesive approach and align with the client's strategic goals.
• Manage accurate scheduling across all system platforms, prioritizing tasks in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Establish project priorities with clients and internal Nahan teams to ensure timely completion of all necessary day-to-day tasks, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Prepare pre-invoices, accurately capturing all relevant costs, and deliver them to the Accounting team in a timely manner.
• Travel as required.
• Support 6S initiatives.
• Follow all Nahan Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
