Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Account Manager to oversee facilities operations and client relationships for assigned accounts. You will ensure service excellence, contract compliance, safety, and financial results while acting as the primary liaison between clients and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in janitorial, facility services, custodial, hospitality, or related operations.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and service delivery.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facilities operations for assigned customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and site visits.
• Ensure all services are delivered according to contract specifications, company standards, and customer expectations.
• Conduct routine quality inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Monitor account performance, customer satisfaction, and service metrics.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain janitorial team members and supervisors.
• Manage employee scheduling, staffing levels, attendance, and labor utilization.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, client requirements, and safety regulations.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and service issues in a timely manner.
• Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, equipment, and consumable products.
