Job summary

ABM is seeking an experienced Janitorial Account Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and contract compliance for assigned buildings in the United States. You will implement cost controls, oversee quality and safety programs, and manage the delivery of services to meet contract requirements and client expectations.

The role requires leadership of Supervisors and Lead personnel, with focus on profitability, payroll accuracy, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a service/customer environment.
• 2+ years in janitorial, custodial, or facilities management preferred.
• Experience in cost estimating/pricing work.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence; present to managers/customers.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure services are performed as contracted and at intended profit margins.
• Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
• Manage quality control monitoring and safety programs at assigned buildings.
• Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned buildings.
• Increase revenue by ensuring Supervisors seek additional or periodic services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Ensure paperwork including terminations and payroll actions is completed and submitted timely.
• Analyze and manage financial and operational performance of buildings.
• Ensure payroll is accurate and submitted timely; correct discrepancies when applicable.
• Lead Supervisors and Lead personnel working at the buildings.
• Manage direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
