Job summary

LS Energy Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth across utility-scale and commercial energy storage markets. You will manage strategic accounts, identify opportunities, and serve as the primary customer advocate through the sales and project lifecycle.

The role collaborates with utilities, developers, EPCs, IPPs, and commercial customers to deliver integrated BESS solutions, promote an expanded services portfolio, and maintain strong partnerships through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in account management, technical sales, or business development.
• 3+ years in energy, renewables, or energy storage sectors.
• Proven record selling complex technical solutions with long sales cycles.
• Experience with utilities, developers, EPCs, or energy customers.
• Strong knowledge of energy markets and project development processes.
• Ability to juggle multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies to grow revenue within assigned territories.
• Build executive-level relationships with utilities, renewable developers, EPCs, IPPs, and partners.
• Lead business reviews and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Present proposals and manage commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate handoff to execution teams and ensure forecast accuracy.
