Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive grid-scale energy storage system sales across North America.

The role focuses on system-level battery energy storage solutions, coordinating across proposals, sales engineering, marketing, and contracts teams. The candidate will lead relationships at multiple levels, manage large deals, and coordinate with LGES Vertech’s HQ in Seoul.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in a senior sales or marketing role.
• Experience in energy/electrical power industry preferred.
• Proven success in managing a sales team in a fast-paced market.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop highly effective relationships with customers, project and channel partners, and relevant stakeholders at multiple levels including C-level.
• Own complete AC and DC system sales including battery pack/rack opportunities; focus on system-level solutions.
• Arrange customer meetings to execute the sales plan and seek support from other teams.
• Identify key customer needs and present technical and commercial proposals.
• Lead multi-functional teams through the bidding process from opportunity identification to contract negotiations.
• Develop understanding of competing energy storage technologies to inform clients of LGES Vertech’s advantages.
