Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager – Employee Benefits to lead client services, manage a book of business and drive growth for employee benefits programs. The role requires strong leadership, compliance, and strategic coordination with Producers and carriers.

You will oversee day-to-day activities of Account Coordinators, manage renewals, and advocate for clients, delivering high-quality service and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage book of business and meet performance requirements.
• Deliver outstanding service, anticipate needs and respond quickly.
• Lead the account team with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators and monitor execution.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Oversee new business setup, including data gathering and client file creation.
• Manage renewals, verify client data, liaise with clients and carriers.
• Build and improve client relationships and implement improvements.
• Advise for clients and carriers to achieve beneficial outcomes.
• Identify value-added solutions for clients and report performance data.
