WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

This individual will have the ability to contact clients, gather information, determine coverage needs for each client, and market, place, and sell the account. Knowledge of financial statements and the ability to prioritize and delegate workflow are essential for success.

  • Advise clients on coverage issues.
  • Decide the best market for placing an account and approach suitable markets.
  • Check all incoming policies, audits, and endorsements for accuracy.
  • Input data into the system.
  • Bill policies, audits, and endorsements.
  • Write to companies for corrections to policies, endorsements, audits.
  • Enter and update applications for marketing submissions.
  • Follow up with companies during the marketing process to obtain quotations.
  • Handle customer calls for certificates of insurance and policy changes.
  • Write to companies for changes, issue certificates and ID cards, and send them to customers.
  • Issue binders and cancellation requests.
  • Monitor expiration lists to ensure timely binding or renewal.
  • Research and explain accounting differences.
  • Perform rating if needed.
  • Check follow-up items and outstanding requests.

In a secure, quiet location with high-speed, reliable internet, either remotely or in our Wyomissing Office.

  • Customer service experience.
  • Speed and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Detail-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Property & Casualty license required.
  • 3-5 years of P&C commercial insurance experience preferred.
  • CIC / CISR designation preferred or willingness to complete the courses.
