Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee a commercial lines book and drive retention and growth. The role requires leadership of the account management team, advanced client service, and strong policy management expertise.

You will coordinate renewals, analyze coverage needs, and collaborate with carriers to propose effective solutions while maintaining high service standards. Remote-friendly within time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience, or 7+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Renewal submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the team.
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to client needs.
