Job summary

You will identify leads, develop proposals, manage renewals, and coordinate service across accounts. Strong communication, leadership and client-relations skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• One or more year of insurance industry experience; PEO experience preferred.
• Valid insurance license.
• Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identifies new leads and gathers information for submissions.
• Develops, presents and sells new business proposals to prospects.
• Gathers information; develops, delivers and sells renewal proposals.
• Performs periodic service calls and coordinates customer service.
• Sells additional coverage to existing customers.
• Facilitates joint sales calls and shares lead information within the team.
• Attends and participates in regular sales meetings.
• Develops strong client relationships to support agency goals.
• Achieves annual sales goals and reports progress to the Managing Director.
• Maintains professional demeanor and promotes a positive agency image.
