Bluefors is the industry standard for ultra-low temperature cooling solutions, powering breakthroughs in quantum technology and enabling physicists and scientists worldwide to push the boundaries of discovery and innovation. In this high-impact role, you will develop and lead strategic customer relationships with major enterprise clients in the quantum technology and high-tech manufacturing sectors, driving long-term account growth and managing complex sales cycles. If you are eager to represent cutting‑edge cryogenic technologies to some of the most innovative companies in the world, this is the position for you. Interested? Keep reading!

Your tasks as a Senior Account Manager will include leading strategic account management for a portfolio of key clients across the US and Canada, managing portfolio sales, deeply understanding customer needs, aligning technical solutions to meet those needs, and taking full ownership of creating, executing, and closing sales opportunities. You will develop and execute account strategies that align customer objectives with Bluefors’ technology solutions and overall business goals. You will establish and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships alongside your account team and lead services initiatives within your accounts.

Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with internal sales and technical teams to ensure seamless execution, serving as the dedicated customer advocate who handles client inquiries, resolves issues in a timely manner, coordinates cross‑functional resources, and develops best practices. You will also monitor market and competitor trends to identify new business opportunities and influence strategic direction, forecast and track key account metrics to report performance and pipeline status to leadership, and contribute to sales process improvements while mentoring team members where appropriate.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related discipline. You should bring at least 10 years of experience in sales and strategic account management, preferably within an international environment. A solid background working in complex technical industries with technical buyers is required, along with a deep understanding of selling high‑technology products and services. You will need exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and a goal‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets. To succeed, as a Senior Account Manager, you must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, uphold our company Leadership Principles, and maintain an excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Please note that this position is a remote role for candidates residing in California to support our US West Coast accounts and requires a willingness and ability to travel more than 50% of the time.

We also appreciate candidates who demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced technology setting. A positive, hands‑on attitude and a strong alignment with our company values will help you stand out. Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is highly valued, as is a proactive approach to expanding client relationships and driving customer success.

We offer you an interesting, challenging, and responsible position as well as the support of a highly skilled growth organization. This is an excellent opportunity for your own professional growth in a dynamic, enthusiastic, and professional team where we work together, and we support each other. We have a multicultural work environment with room to grow, where you can use your potential and develop your skills. Bluefors also offers a generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), professional development training, vacation, and Paid Time Off (PTO).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic account management for a portfolio of key clients across the US and Canada by managing portfolio sales, understanding customer needs, aligning solutions, and owning the end‑to‑end sales lifecycle

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales and technical teams to deliver top‑tier customer service and technical support

  • Serve as the customer advocate by managing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, coordinating internal resources, and establishing best practices

  • Monitor market and competitor trends to spot new opportunities and inform strategic direction

  • Forecast and track key account metrics, delivering regular performance and pipeline reports to leadership

  • Contribute to continuous sales process improvement and provide mentorship to team members where appropriate

What We Expect from You:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BSc) or Master's degree (MSc) in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in sales and/or account management, preferably in an international environment

  • Proven experience working in a complex technical industry dealing with technical buyers

  • Deep understanding of high‑technology products and services sales

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities

  • Goal‑oriented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

  • Willingness and ability to travel >50% of the time

  • Must reside in the state of California for remote coverage of US West Coast clients

  • Commitment to company Leadership Principles and high ethical standards

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

We Also Appreciate:
