Job summary

TrueNorth is seeking a Senior Account Executive with deep expertise in large commercial accounts to join our rapidly growing Ag Specialty Practice in West Des Moines, IA. The Senior Account Executive will drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and ensure seamless coordination across departments.

Our ideal candidate will lead executive conversations, design risk-based coverage strategies, and advance cross-sell opportunities while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 7 years of commercial insurance experience in the Ag space.
• Property & Casualty license required; CIC preferred.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships end-to-end across the full lifecycle.
• Build executive and board-level relationships; act as trusted advisor.
• Identify and resolve coverage and service risks before escalation.
• Lead cross-sell and growth opportunities with internal teams.
• Travel up to 50% to support client initiatives and events.
