TrueNorth Companies, L.C. is seeking an Account Specialist to join the Personal Lines team in Cedar Rapids, IA.

This role provides support across account management and the administration of life and health insurance products, delivering exceptional service to clients and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two or four-year degree preferred.
• Property and casualty license preferred.
• Insurance industry experience preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Update client management and carrier systems, entering quotes and processing endorsements and mortgagee changes.
• Follow-up with clients on incomplete applications and change forms.
• Complete special projects by the expected deadline.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Meet deadlines as set with your Leader.
• Attend market or client meetings and project reviews.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
