(Senior) Account Executive, HR & Payroll Technology

Our client provides enterprise software that helps organizations improve HR and payroll efficiency, compliance, and workforce operations. We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive new business across a defined US territory.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline
- Develop territory plans and generate new business through prospecting, partners, and marketing activity
- Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and demonstrations through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Engage senior stakeholders across HR, payroll, finance, IT, operations, and procurement
- Work with solution consultants, marketing, customer success, product, and partner teams
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and opportunity updates
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of quota-carrying SaaS or enterprise software sales experience.
- Proven success in new-business development and target achievement
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Strong consultative selling, prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Experience with CRM and sales-engagement tools
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory when required
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling HR technology, payroll, workforce-management, or related enterprise software
- Familiarity with HRIS, HCM, payroll, or workforce platforms such as Workday, Dayforce, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, ADP or similar solutions
- Experience selling software that complements or extends existing HR technology environments
- Relationships with HR, payroll, finance, IT, or operations stakeholders
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies
